ENCAP PROJECT IS CLOSED INTRODUCING USAID'S GLOBAL ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SUPPORT (GEMS) PROJECT |

The ENCAP program has ended and is being replaced by USAID's Global Environmental Management Support (GEMS) project. While the GEMS website is under construction, the ENCAP website will remain active. Once construction is complete and the GEMS website is fully launched, this ENCAP website will close. All information, documents, and resources will then be availalbe through the new GEMS website. Learn more about the GEMS project.

Kenya Regional Training for USAID Staff Workshop materials now available - Over 24-28, January 2011, a regional training workshop for USAID staff in “Life of Project Environmental Compliance and Environmentally Sound Design and Management” was conducted in Lake Naivash, Kenya. The workshop was the latest in a series of Africa Regional Environmental trainings for USAID Staff.

Pretoria 2009 Workshop Page - Over 11–15 May 2009, a regional training workshop for USAID staff in “Life of Project Environmental Compliance and Environmentally Sound Design and Management” was conducted in Pretoria, South Africa. Forty- two participants attended, of whom 33 were USAID mission staff, representing 18 missions, including two in Asia region. The workshop was the latest in a series of Africa Regional Environmental trainings for USAID Staff.
