Field Visit: EMMP Development

Critiquing, designing and auditing against EMMPs are core ESDM/LOP Compliance skills for CTOs, MEOs, Activity Managers & IPs. The field visit builds & practices these skills.

Classroom follow-up

Informed by their field observations, working groups develop an EMMP responsive to provided IEE conditions. Plenary discussions focus on issues of EMMP implementation and monitoring

Incorporating Env Compliance Requirements into Procurement Instruments

The ADS requires that compliance requirements (esp. IEE/EA conditions) be integrated into procurement instruments. Effective “Environmental Compliance Language” also assures that the prerequisites for IEE/EA Implementation are put in place. (See session 13). A new environmental compliance language tool (boilerplate text & step-by-step guidance) is introduced.
